Cerec® Same-Day Crowns

The Wood, Spooner & Mills Dentistry Team is excited to provide our patients with Cerec® One-Visit Crowns! Now, Dr. Wood, Dr. Spooner and Dr. Mills can complete the entire crown process in a single appointment.

Cerec One Visit Dentistry

Cerec® 3D CAD-CAM technology gives our dentists the ability to scan your teeth with a small camera and design a dental crown using special imaging tools - no goopy impressions required!

And, the best part, we can mill your crown out of natural-looking ceramic materials right here in our Birmingham dental office. You leave with your permanent restoration - without the hassle of a temporary crown or having to squeeze a second trip to the dentist into your busy schedule.

Our patients love the convenience that Cerec® technology offers, and the results!

Cerec® crowns are available in shades that match existing teeth, so your crown is beautifully blended into your smile. Cerec® technology can also be used for dental bridges, inlays and onlays and cosmetic veneers.

Digital Photography & Intraoral Cameras. Using macro photography or small intraoral cameras that are about the size of a toothbrush, we are able to capture magnified pictures of your teeth and transmit them to a computer screen to allow you to see what your dentist sees.

Digital Radiography. Though dental radiation exposure is very minimal, digital systems require up to 90% less radiation than traditional film. Digital dental x-rays are taken with sensors that transmit immediately to software that provides images within seconds, which allows Dr. Wood, Dr. Spooner and Dr. Mills to enlarge and highlight areas of concern and share their findings with you. Digital x-rays are also easily transmitted to insurance companies or other specialists when needed.

Birmingham dentists Dr. Diana Wood, Dr. Melanie Spooner and Dr. Lindsey Mills love the convenience and information that digital dentistry offers our patients.

We invite you to schedule an appointment, we know you will have a great experience with us!
